Last week, Spot silver dipped over 1 percent to close at $18.6 per ounce while MCX silver prices rose about 3 percent to close at Rs.48203.0 per kg.
Rising global tension might boost the appeal for the safe haven asset and support the bullion metal.
ON the MCX, gold prices are expected to trade higher today; international markets are trading higher by 0.15 percent to close at $1517.75 per ounce.
